Role Description
Seeking full-time commercial litigation/bankruptcy associate attorney with flexibility for some remote work. This attorney will preliminarily be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and pleadings, and assisting with trial preparation in both state and federal courts. Depending upon experience and aptitude, this position will include frequent opportunities to appear in court and take depositions. All counsel at Agentis work collaboratively with each other and staff to ensure that the work product is of the highest quality, and will provide excellent client service during all interactions.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Strong writing and analytical skills. Law review/law journal writing experience is a definite plus
- Admission to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission in Florida
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with drafting legal documents, researching legal issues, and analyzing and summarizing legal information
- 2 to 5 years of experience as an associate attorney is required
Unfortunately, Candidates with no bankruptcy or commercial litigation experience cannot be considered for this position.
