Recently the Daily Business Review shone a spotlight on the continuing civil case that Agentis is pursuing for a widow and her son against their daughter/sister, who is accused of theft from a family trust account that her late father had established.
According to attorney Christopher Spuches, “The misappropriations that we’ve alleged are about half a million dollars, but when you factor in interest and missed opportunities that the trust would have had to invest these funds, the damages will exceed $1 million…We already have summary judgment on five of the 19 counts against her, including breach of fiduciary duty and breach of the trust. A criminal trial is set for March 3, and we look forward to wrapping up the civil case this year.”
